D'Arcy has worked in the charity sector for over twenty three years and has been a charity CEO for more than a decade. He has run a number of micro finance, income generation and self-reliance projects in emerging economies in Africa, Asia and the South Pacific.
D’Arcy has more than 17 years’ experience in sales and marketing, mainly devoted to business development, he joined the board in August 2013.
Hereward has worked in the City of London in a general management capacity with responsibility for the UK operations of a foreign bank.
He has served as a trustee of the Carroll Youth Centre in Winchester where he was responsible for finance. Hereward joined our board in Autumn 2014.
Beth is Head of Marketing and Sales Subject Group at the University of Portsmouth, she was the elected chair of the UK National Sales Board from 2005–09, which launched National Occupational Standards for selling, account management and sales support roles.
Beth is a member of the Learning Advisory Group of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and was made an Honorary Fellow of the Sales Performance Association in 2011.
Roy is a former Housing Renewals Manager for Portsmouth City Council, where he worked with the authority for more than 20 years. His role as a Senior Manager included the interpretation of the relevant housing legislation and writing strategic and policy documents for the council. Roy has been part of our board since 2010.
Philip is a retired solicitor and former partner of Coffin Mew LLP. He is a commercial property specialist with wide experience of acting for clients in both the public and private sectors and was Chairman and subsequently President of the Portsmouth and South East Hampshire Chamber of Commerce prior to its merger to form the Hampshire Chamber. Philip is also a former member of the Bank of England Hampshire Core Panel, and joined the board in January 2016.
Jim is a commercial property expert and a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. After working for a number of London based firms in the 1980s and early ‘90s, Jim opened his own consultancy business in 1995 and has been helping business people leasing or buying business premises, providing mentoring and training and negotiating on commercial property matters, on their behalf. Jim possesses a 35-year track record of successful projects for organisations as varied as major institutions in the City of London, and small, start-up businesses up and down the country.
Jim joined our board in April 2017.
